· To ensure the quality and consistency of all culinary experiences, all food and beverage (with the exception of your wedding cake) is to be purchased solely through Montage Big Sky.
· All food and beverage charges are subject to a 25% taxable service charge and a 4% resort sales tax.
We offer multiple bar options in accordance with Montana law, all guests must be at least 21 years old to consume alcoholic beverages. As responsible hosts, Montage Big Sky respectfully reserves the right to refuse alcoholic service to anyone.
There is a $10 per person cake cutting fee (subject to a 25% service charge and 4% sales tax) and served on a painted plate.
Your food and beverage minimum expenditure of $60,000 - $100,000 includes a complimentary Wedding Menu Tasting for up to four guests, including the wedding couple. Our personalized chef experiences allow an intimate group 3-5 months prior to your event to sample the flavors and capabilities of our culinary presentation. Please consult with your Wedding Event Manager about your tasting needs.
In order to provide your guests with a flawless experience, a final guarantee of attendance must be submitted by 3:00pm a minimum of ten business days prior to your event. Please keep in mind, this guarantee is not subject to reduction.
To reserve your date and event space and lodging accommodations, please sign and return your completed Catering Agreement and initial deposit within seven days of your request. (Initial deposit is equal to 33% of the rental fees and estimated food and beverage minimum, based on your room selection.) If your function occurs within 90 days, a 100% deposit is required. All deposits are non-refundable and nontransferable. Once received, the signed Catering Agreement and initial deposit will secure your reservations for the wedding. To accommodate other events, please be advised that your date and space will be released if we do not receive the signed confirmation and deposit by the indicated date.
Payments can be made in the form of cashier's check, credit card, cash or personal check (with the exception of the final payment which cannot be a personal check). To confirm your event, we must have a credit card on file as all functions are held on a prepayment basis. All transactions made with a credit card are subject to a 3% transaction fee.
· Based upon availability, a room block at Montage Big Sky may be set aside at a special rate for your overnight guests. Each room is subject to a 9% occupancy fee and 12% room tax, per day.
· Any unused rooms will be released 30 days prior to the wedding. Room blocks contracted are subject to 90% attrition.
Event space rental fees and food and beverage minimums are based on seasonality, the event type, setup requirements and the number of guests in attendance. If you need advance setup and/or late teardown, an additional charge may be incurred. While we do our best to accommodate your requests, please keep in mind that there may be one or more events taking place before or after your event.
· As year-round hosts, we want you to relish your wedding in all seasons. Therefore, we reserve indoor space for all outdoor events. Rain calls will be made at least eight hours prior to the event for seamless setup. If a ceremony double set of both indoor and outdoor venues is requested, a $10 per person setup fee will apply in addition to your ceremony fees.
· In consideration of our neighbors, outdoor events must conclude musical entertainment by 10 pm.
· Five-Star Audio Visuals is a full-service, in-house production company and the preferred provider for all audio-visual needs at Montage Big Sky. Our production team provides a full range of premium event production services, including audio and lighting equipment, screens and projectors, video production, etc.
· Five-Star Audio Visual is also Montage Big Sky’s exclusive provider for power, rigging and internet services.
Your Wedding Event Manager may refer vendors for floral decor, entertainment, photography and more. If you prefer to provide vendors not on Montage Big Sky’s Preferred Vendor List, a copy of your vendor’s insurance policy, demonstrating $1M–$5M in coverage (depending on service), is required with Montage Big Sky listed as an additional insured for the day of the event.
Valet parking for special events is available on a limited basis. A discounted valet parking rate of $30 (plus tax) per car, per day and $55 overnight will be offered to wedding guests throughout your wedding weekend (including ceremony rehearsal and additional events). If you would like to host the parking for your guests, the charges can be applied to your Master Account. Please note that self-parking is not available, and the hotel is not responsible for losses or damages to any vehicle or its contents. Parking rates are subject to change without notice.
The closest airport to Montage Big Sky is Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport (BZN), the air hub to Yellowstone National Park, host to nine airlines with 16 direct flights from major US gateway cities. Every traveler’s flight ends with a ceremonial descent into the grand mountain ranges that border the Gallatin Valley, where an hour’s drive west takes guests to Lone Mountain—home to Montage Big Sky.
Airport transfers and rental cars are available to and from Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport through our exclusive partnerships with Snow Country Limousine and Go Rentals. A limited number of vehicles are available on-site for you to rent for a day trip or your entire stay. Please see concierge for availability.
All food, beverage, rental, audio visual and related charges are subject to taxable service charge (currently 25%) and resort tax (currently 4%). Rates are subject to change.

· Chef attendant fee (for additional cocktail reception, dinner or dessert food stations: $250 per chef (one chef attendant per 100 guests recommended))
· Bartender fee: $175 per bartender per hour, $400 for three hours and $100 per hour beyond three hours. (one bartender per 75 guests recommended)
